"Screamin' Mimi, that is so funny! How did you ever come up with that name?"

The credit truly belongs to our college education. It's an inside joke. You know the kind that the person telling you is laughing hysterically and can barely speak and you're looking at them, thinking "Whatever."

During college we had the opportunity to take a few classes together. In our Computer Science class we had a professor who shall we say was...boring (that was when they taught what a byte and a CPU was, who knows what they teach in a basic computer class now -- probably how to build a web site!). Anyway, to pass the time we created this character (a stick girl) her name was Mimi. Lisa was a business major and Lori was a psychology major. Lisa would tease Lori that she would end up in the insane asylum (psychology, get it?) and Lori would tease that Lisa would go crazy trying to become a big, successful businesswoman. We would draw pictures of Mimi with dialogue and pass her back and forth cutting up on each other (in a very loving and sisterly way of course).

By the time we graduated, Mimi was in an insane asylum, hanging out the window screaming..."Screamin' Mimi." We apologize to all of those parents out there who sent or are sending their children to college. Surely they will spend their class hours in more productive ways than we did (although this did produce "Mimi".)

We are glad to report that while we may not have always been attentive, Mimi did help us both get our degrees.
