Safety Audit
Issue 15: My Airbag

by the Paranoid Sisters

Most of us look at child proofing like we look at an IRS audit: we hope we never have to go through it. If we do, we hope it only happens once. Have you ever looked around your once child proofed house and noticed the many hazards that have piled up like your laundry. As we do a safety tune-up (yes, even the Paranoid Sisters need safety tune-ups) we take you with us.

Car safety is the emphasis of so much advertising and so many websites. Yet we still see so many kids unbuckled. Not only are they unbuckled, but the child is sitting on the adults lap! If your child is on your lap and you get in an accident, your child will be between you and the dashboard (or back of the seat). The child is your Airbag! We’re sure most people don’t think of this but it’s true. So remember, kids (and adults) need to be buckled up at all times (use car seats/boosters for kids under 6).  Don’t buckle an adult and a child in the same seatbelt.  concrete contractor dallas Ward. london builders - New Forest

Start enforcing proper seatbelt use early and your kids will not only buckle themselves, they’ll remind you if you forget.
